Awstats Step by Step Installation
This isn’t a detailed guide with it missing a thorough introduction thus working knowledge of ssh is required. If all else fails, let me know, I would be more than happy to help you out.
Installation
> wget http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/awstats/awstats-6.7.tar.gz
> tar -zxvf awstats-6.7.tar.gz
> mv awstats-6.7 awstats
> cd awstats/
> mv * ..
> cd ..
> cd wwwroot
> mv * ..
> cd ..
> rmdir wwwroot
Configuration
> cd cgi-bin
> cp awstats.model.conf awstats.domain.com.conf
